In accordance to the AESC, a consultancy firm is obliged to: 1. Provide a precise and honest evaluation of their capacity to carry out the search. 2. Inform who will be carrying out the search. 3. Provide a consultancy service of the highest quality. 4. Maintain their information in strict confidence. 5. Show a clear understanding of the position, the company and the search objectives 6. Present regular reports on the progress of the search. 7. Create a list of candidates suitable for the position and culture of the organisation. 8. Negotiate with the final candidate, representing both parties with integrity and professionalism. 9. The consultancy firm cannot guarantee filling the position nor that the candidate would wish to join the company. 10. Provide a reasonable follow-up after the incorporation.
